What Cheba Man AI collects, why, who processes it and how to get it deleted
This policy explains how Cheba Man AI at chebamanai.com handles personal data. In short: we keep what we need to make your videos and run your account, we share photos only with the AI services that render them, and you can delete everything.
What we collect
Account data. Your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
Photos and videos. The photo you upload for each video, the full-body portrait prepared from it, and the finished video.
Payment data. Your purchases, subscription status and Stripe customer ID. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Usage data. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser, pages visited and, when you arrive from a campaign link, the referring site and UTM tags. We use it to keep the service secure, fix problems and understand which channels bring people to the site.
How photos are processed
When you press "Take the stage", your photo is stored in our cloud storage and sent to:
- Replicate, which runs the image model that prepares the full-body portrait, and
- kie.ai or Replicate, which run the Seedance video model that renders your video.
These providers process the files only to complete your request. The links we give them are long, random and not listed anywhere. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.
Why we use your data
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To generate, store and deliver your videos.
- To process payments, grant credits and handle refunds.
- To send account emails such as verification and password reset.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service running.
We rely on our contract with you for the service itself, and on our legitimate interest for security and basic analytics.
Who else processes data
- Cloudflare: hosting, database and file storage.
- Stripe: payments and invoices.
- Replicate and kie.ai: AI image and video generation.
- Resend: account emails.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Analytics providers, only if they are enabled on the site (see the Cookie Policy).
How long we keep it
Photos, portraits and videos are kept until you delete your account, so that your videos stay available under My videos. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept for a short time only.
Your rights
You can view and change your account details in settings, and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account permanently deletes your photos and videos. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict the use of your data, or to complain to a data protection authority. To use these rights, or to ask us to remove a photo of you that someone else uploaded, contact us through the contact page.
Children
Cheba Man AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will also tell signed-in users.
